What do archives tell us about history and what stories do they hide? In the radio program, artist Shiraz Bayjoo and curator Julia DeFabo talk about personal and cultural memory and how the past is connected to the present.
Bayjoo’s artistic practice explores these themes in relation to postcolonial Mauritius and the wider Indian Ocean region.

Bayjoo’s work is featured in the exhibition ARCHIVES OF RESISTANCE AND REPAIR, which is currently on display at the Neue Galerie Innsbruck.
