Service for members
The Künstler:innen Vereinigung Tirol sees itself as a lobby and platform for artists in and from the Tyrol. It also offers its members an information service about invitations to tender and exhibitions, a publication archive, and advice on stays abroad/residencies and freelance work as an artist. With their membership card, artists receive reduced/free admission to various art institutions in the Tyrol and the surrounding area.
Together with a number of partners, the association regularly offers information events on topics of particular interest to artists, such as social security matters relating to precarious employment conditions in the arts and cultural sector.
Office hours for members
The Künstler*innen Vereinigung Tirol offers consultation hours with the managing directress Bettina Siegele for its members at regular intervals. The dates are announced in advance on our website under ‘Service for members’ and in our newsletters.
The consultation hours take place in the Kunstpavillon or alternatively via Zoom (link on request to office@kuveti.at).

Membership card
With the membership card you receive reduced/free entrance to various art institutions in Tyrol and the surrounding area.
The membership fee is EUR 50,- per year. (BTV, IBAN: AT501600000100332272, BIC: BTVAAT22)
International Artist's Identity Card for Artists (IAA)
The International Artist’s Identity Card, issued by the International Association of Art (IAA), allows visual artists worldwide free or reduced admission to numerous museums and exhibition venues. Nationally active interest groups endeavour to get the card recognised in their respective countries. In Austria, this is the IG BILDENDE KUNST. When ordered collectively via the Künstler:innen Vereinigung Tirol, the card costs EUR 28,- for members of the Künstler:innen Vereinigung Tirol and is valid for two years.
Members Exhibition
The curated members’ exhibition takes place every other year.
Salon Expanded
Every two years, the Salon Expanded offers new members of the Künstler:innen Vereinigung Tirol an opportunity to introduce their own work but also artistic and non-artistic personal interests to colleagues and the general public.
This is a format to present different practices and directions of new contemporary art production in and from the Tyrol.
Reading corner
The Kunstpavillon has a mobile shelf so that current publications by the members can be presented to the public. We also collect members’ catalogues and artists’ books in our archive.
Project Space
The format PROJECT SPACE includes presentations of publications, readings, talks, project presentations, etc. by members of the association during exhibition-free periods in the Kunstpavillon or the Neue Galerie. PROJECT SPACES can also take place at any time in public spaces or at art-in-architecture projects. Members interested in organizing a PROJECT SPACE can contact us at office@kuveti.at.
Studio Visits
The series takes place in studios and workspaces of members of the Künstler:innen Vereinigung Tirol. STUDIO VISITS aim to create a common space for exchange and to get to know the diverse working methods and production sites of local artists. Members interested in organizing a STUDIO VISIT are welcome to send an inquiry to office@kuveti.at
Newsletter
The newsletter for members is published every second month and contains information on current exhibitions and events run by the Künstler:innen Vereinigung Tirol, announcements of its members’ exhibitions and events, and a selection of current calls for tenders at home and abroad.
kueve*tisch
The kueve*tisch is an informal meeting for members with representatives from the board that takes place four times a year and encourages socialising, exchanging ideas and networking. Dates are announced in the newsletters of the Künstler*innen Vereinigung Tirol.
Members area on the homepage
In the members’ area on the homepage of the Künstler:innen Vereinigung Tirol, announcements of exhibitions and events of the members are listed. It also contains current calls for proposals, grants and residencies in Austria and abroad.
Information events
The Künstler:innen Vereinigung Tirol regularly organises information events and workshops with experts for its members, examining relevant and up-to-date topics for visual artists such as social security and tax law.
